About Me

My name is Susae Elanchenny. From 2009-2012 I lived in Istanbul, Turkey, first as a Fulbright scholar researching nationalism in Turkey’s foreign policy and then as a project officer at the Global Political Trends Center (GPoT), a Turkish think tank, where I managed Turkey-Armenia reconciliation projects. In 2009 I graduated from Wellesley College in political science and history, and in 2014 I will complete the Master of Science in Foreign Service (MSFS) program at Georgetown University. I write about politics and culture in Turkey and its surrounding regions, in addition to general foreign policy and international relations issues, in English and in Turkish.
